The Sony 24mm f2 Distagon T* ZA SSM Lens is a bright, very high quality wide angle prime lens by Carl Zeiss. It features a large maximum aperture of f2 which in combination with the 9-blade circular aperture creates beautiful defocus effects.Smooth, silent AF operation is provided by the high-torque SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) while the lens' superior optical design with 2 aspheric elements, 2 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and T* coating on optical surfaces ensures higher light transmission with minimal flare, ghosting and aberration.
The Sony 24mm f2 Distagon T* ZA SSM Lens also offers a close focus distance of just 19cm for frame-filling close-ups plus a focus mode switch and focus hold button for greater creative control.
